Building the Inner Man
That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man. Ephesians 3:16
I started to look at this passage on Sunday but did not get very far as the Holy Spirit had His way in the meeting. Once thing we want as a church, is to allow the Holy Spirit to touch lives and set people free. Over the past few weeks I have been drawing attention to who we are on the inside, and the Born Again person, filled with all Power.
I want us to be aware of God’s presence and how He changes us from the inside out.
How do we build our Spirit man and walk in that place of authority?
1. Take time and read and study the word.
2. Pray in the Spirit, more than we pray in English.
3. Daily doing Spiritual things, to get supernatural results.
4. Draw aside, and meditate on the Lord and all that He has done.
5. I quote affirmation out loud.
E.g.: “I am a Spirit man”
“I am the temple of the Holy Spirit”
“I am no ordinary person”
“Gods’ Rivers flow out of my inner being” etc.
Then I say things like, how can I become more aware of Gods voice, What do I need to do?
Be persistent and never give up.
Your Spirit man will grow as you invest into doing these things.
If you don’t eat, you will die in the natural.
If you don't feed and build your Spirit man you will die Spiritually.
Over the next few weeks I want to keep looking at this subject, as we all need to grow and come to Spiritual maturity.
Ephesians 3:19b That you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
