Building the Inner Person – “The Born-Again Miracle”
We have been looking at the path of transformation of the inner-man/woman in the born-again experience that set us on the path of new life. From Genesis until now, God has been working a plan to bring us back to His original design. His first plan was always the best plan.
John 6 records where Jesus told us that “He is the bread of life that has come down from Heaven” [v.41,48]& “the Words that He speaks are spirt & they are life” [v.63]. This process is all the plan of God to build us up to the fullness of abundant life in Jesus. We eat daily to build our physical bodies that will sustain us on into old age, but God wants to build stamina in the ‘real’ you, this new creation[2Cor5:17] where old things are passed away & all things have become new. We will not find the way by coincidence but by God’s plan through His Word, the church, communion, fellowship & all the things that we do along this path of becoming more and more like Christ until the day when we are raised up into the fullness of Him.
Life is a series of choices. Jesus’ words are life and ours can be also but they can also be death. Either way the tongue will lead the way & we will eat the fruit of them [Prov18:21]. It is God’s desire to see us built up in our inner born-again man” till we all come to the unity of the faith& of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ” [Eph4:13]That we as individuals would be transformed of our understanding & act just like Christ – meaning ‘The Anointed One& His Anointing’.
It’s God’s way to rule & reign & have dominion over all things & this is what we to become like also in our journey as His children. We have been re-created to rule with Him over mountains & circumstances; not them ruling over us! Jesus has done it, now we are to imitate Him[Eph5:1]. Our names are recorded in The Lamb’s Book of Life…now believe it, do it & walk in it exercising His ways to see His already gained victory established in our life. We have a wonderfully made body to live in [Ps139] but now the scales have fallen from our spiritual eyes, & we are recreated creatures born-again of the Spirit of God. Now connected to Him & on a path of building spiritual muscles, confidence & stamina where this “hidden man of the heart grows” [1Pet3:3-4]To do His will in this earth with Jesus as the head & us knitted together as His body – all as separate parts but of one body. If the toe hurts, then the whole body feels the discomfort & lacks peace. God wants us complete & that’s why we stand together – supporting one another’s function, pulling together as a family.
Religion says you must do this & this if you possibly want to find peace with God. We don’t do religion -that’s of Satan. We are on a spiritual journey to establish what God has already done for us! Amen! Only He could do this! Who has He purposed for us to become?
When John the Baptiser was questioned by the religious establishment of the day with – “Who are you & what do you say about yourself?”[Jn1:19-22], he boldly answered “I am a voice!”. Are we not ambassadors of Heaven, representatives, speaking on behalf of God? The enemy questions us, the world questions us with the very same question today… “Who are you?”when something adverse comes to challenge us, to challenge what God has said is ours? Is there not power in the words of your tongue? You are no mere-human, you are a born-again child of the Creator-God Almighty, possessed by the Spirit of God, endued with all power from on High, with Heaven’s mighty resources waiting for you to release it to act; fully authourised by the blood of Jesus, at your voice’s command, in Jesus name!
The enemy will try anything to silence your voice. Don’t give up, continue the path set before you as you build the hidden man of your spirit; day by day building stamina, strength & confidence in your spirit that comes all the way through into your soul & body. Ready to release the Word against any thing that comes to challenge who you are & what you say about yourself.
Build your faith daily by praying in tongues [Jude20], feeding daily on The Word & being persistent, together with your family here & now. Know for yourself; who you already are today! The victory is already won! We stand together united; as one family, fully equipped for whatever will come our way.
