Continuing in the series of God's Perfect Knowledge of you, Ps Stuart Price looks at the 3rd stanza in Psalm 139 verses 13 to 18.

In this section, we look at how God created us (we did not evolve from monkeys) and as God created us He knows us intimately and is always with us. Even though we cannot see God He sees us.

Verses 13 to 15 talks about our physical being, what a tapestry of organs, bones, joints, muscles, veins, sinews we are made of, it is hard to imagine, but we were purposely made. By God for God. God writes down our specifications in the book of His purposes.

An architect draws his plans and makes out a list of his specifications for each component of the building. He knows the resistance level of the building, how high and how wide, what the foundations are to be made of to hold it up, right down to the minuet fraction.

Verses 17 and 18 talks about how precious you are to God. Precious means; of great value, not to be wasted or treated carelessly, held in high esteem. More than sand of the sea (innumerable).

How precious are your children and grand or even great-grandchildren to you? Well, you are even more precious than that to God your Heavenly Father.

Jeremiah 29:11 says "for I know the thoughts that I think towards you, says the Lord....Peace and not evil, to give you future hope"

What thoughts do you return to our God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit? Keeping God on your mind all the time is a good place to start to build an intimate relationship with Him.
