The Anointing You Have

 

The Promise of the Father has been poured out as a free gift to every believer -  the precious Holy Spirit.   The in-filling of the believer; with the Spirit of God, is the true riches that Jesus talked of, and it is out of this in Acts 3:6 that Peter said “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk”.  And immediately healing flowed from out of the river of living water within Peter & into this man!   We must enlighten the eyes of our understanding to the reality of the anointing that is already within us. 

Do you know what you have inside you today?

1 John 2:20 says “But you have an anointing from the Holy One.”

2 Cor 1:21 affirms where it is from…”Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us, is God.”

Eph 1:3 says “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,”.  Notice “HAS” already blessed or empowered us IN CHRIST (the Anointed One & His Anointing).

2 Pet 1:3 says “His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue,”

Jesus & the disciples didn’t do anything until He had received the enabling of the Holy Spirit. The power from Heaven filled them & then they went.  The same is intended for us. We are not meant to struggle through life just doing “our best” – whatever that means. We are intended to have “the Helper” – the fullness of God [Eph3:19] daily strengthening us with might in our inner man, to face anything that comes our way & living faith’s best.  Partnering with the “unsearchable riches of Christ” [Eph3:8] & using His ability through faith to live an amazing life that shows Gods goodness & power to a lost world.   

 

Did Jesus give you the all authority to use His name? Yes! Absolutely. You, as part of the body of Christ are fully authorised to release Gods power on earth. Don’t let the devil lie to us about our status in Christ. He did the same to Eve in the garden, when she already was like God. BUT this anointing that you have already must be used every day to live the abundant life that Jesus promised. Not buried under ground or hidden away.

Consider this interesting bird fact: New Zealand has more birds that used to fly; that now no longer do, than anywhere else in the world.  Such as the Kiwi, the Kakapo &the Takahe. This was because there are no predators like tigers, snakes, wolves& other dangerous animals that would normal cause birds to need to flee to the air. Over time, these birds not needing to use their wings gradually lost the use of their wings to fly. Now they have small flightless wings that can flap but have no ability to lift the bird off the ground. One other thing they lost was their song. They don’t sing anymore, just making a squawking screeching sound.  Only birds that fly have a song.

 

Jesus suffered & died a horrible way to give us what we have today. Don’t we owe it to Him to use what He paid for in blood? If we don’t use it, we can lose it. Daily we must exercise the enforcement of victory that we have received. Allowing the Holy Spirit to work with us. This all is done by faith. Be encouraged to continue “renewing your mind” [Rom12:2] & meditating on what it means to carry the anointing of Christ in the person of the Holy Spirit. Keeping singing & worshipping so that the song is never lost from your mouth. Praying & singing in tongues also that your faith may be built up [Jude20]. Turn off the cunning distractions of this world & get into His word – meditating on it, imagining yourself using your anointing & seeing results.  Faith will expand as you see the proof for yourself of the working of Gods Spirit in your life – start from where your faiths at & see it grow. You already are anointed & have all you need!

Because it is not I that live but Christ that lives in me [Gal2:20] & not by my strength nor power but by His Spirit [Zech4:6] will you do life well & see great & mighty things that you hadn’t seen before [Jer33:3].   What have you got to lose?                                     Remember : Attention Builds Desire.
