The Holy Spirit - The Power to Keep Climbing

Jesus revealed that He came to bring us “life & life more abundantly” in John 10:10babundantly is the Greek word perisos meaning ‘greater or advantaged’. The life that Jesus bought was to be different for normal life, something much greater. Then in Matt6:33 He tells to seek it above all other things first and that this would be the answer to all our needs, including our most basic needs of food, shelter & clothing.  Christ means “the anointed One” which He can’t be separated from His anointing. There is such great victory & power for the believer in Christ Jesus.

The Apostle Paul was one person in history who received a special revelation of the anointing of the anointing of the Spirit of God.  Romans 16:25-26 talks of the “…revelation of the mystery kept secret since the world began but now made manifest…”

This mystery was even kept from the angels knowledge.   The secret of God was completed through Jesus Christ on the cross & now freely available to mankind through the baptism of the Holy Spirit.   That mystery was that once more, God & man would come together in partnership & man could be filled with God Himself. This is an amazing, amazing thing which our Father God has done for us.

In these prayers recorded in Ephesians Paul, prayers that the eyes of our understanding be enlightened; that you may know what  is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, & what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe…”

Brothers & sisters we need to spend time to study & meditate & really get into our spirit what  a great & awesome thing that God has done for us in making way for “The Promise” – His Spirit to fill us. We are not intended to go through this life as a believer just doing “our best”.  No! It is faith that pleases God, we must do our “faiths-best”.

Paul said in Eph 3: 8-9  “that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ (the Anointed One & His anointing) & to make all see what is the fellowship (or partnership) with the mystery.”

So we are in partnership with the mystery which is anointing of the Holy Spirit – “that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,  may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.”  Can you believe it? The fullness of God to dwell in you?  Question: “Who are you & what do you say about yourself?”

“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,”  Eph 3:16-20.

The amazing gifts of God to us can only be limited by our faith or how much we believe.  He has already “blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ”.   It is all in & through Christ - The Anointed One & His anointing.  No wonder Jesus said to seek first Gods Kingdom, & Proverbs to seek wisdom above all else.

In Luke 16:11 when talking about how we handle money, Jesus calls the anointing the “true riches”.

The anointing, this enabling & equipping from God’s Spirit, is what every child of God needs to live with, to do everything in life through & given all strength & power through.   We are not intended to do life alone, doing our best & just getting by. Come away from the distractions of this world & spend time alone studying the Word & talking to the Holy Spirit developing who you really are. It is more valuable than anything else to your future & those around you who you may be able to help. It’s up to us to know & comprehend the true riches of the anointing that is in us right now. Decide right now to answer the Holy Spirits call to draw aside & seek His face. Your every answer lies within.

Attention develops desire, so let’s get hungry for more of Him by giving Him all our  attention.

Have an awesome week.
