Walk in Your Anointing & the Giftings that are on Your Life.
Pastor Stuart ministered on that while we are one body of Christ, it is
made up of many members, each with different roles to play, and equally
important. This diversity in the church is necessary for the building-up of
each other, just like all body parts are necessary for the body to
function. So we should be who we are & not trying to be someone else –
Gods Word tells us who we are & how to think. Likewise, it is important
that we work in the area where we are naturally gifted. This is the place
where we will be most at peace because its gifted to us by the Holy Spirit
& He will work with us in this area to develop it more. As we work with
our giftings & use them, they will grow.
2 Tim3:17 says that Gods word has been given to us... ”that the man of God
may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work”. These “good
works” are works of faith that release people from the grips of satan. We
have Gods Spirit to guide us in the truth of His Word on our daily walk
with Him; 1 step after the other. We are meant to be living-life with a
dependence on God for everything that we need. This reliance on the Holy
Spirit must be in a way that we are completely reliant on & trust in
Him.
Our Pastors have safely arrived in Arkansas USA. This is their 16 th time to travel there; never was it their idea to go there,
but completely God’s. They go armed with the Holy Spirit only & are in
100% reliance on Him to lead the way & reveal the love of God to those
peoples. On a single word, “Arkansas” said to Pastor by the Holy Spirit in
March 1999 & 1 year of praying & fasting for the direction of God,
they embarked to a foreign land, not knowing 1 single person. God had told
them that “when they arrive, that He will show them what to do.”
When the direction doesn’t come in our desired time frame, hold fast &
be at peace.
So often our natural logical mind will question & will want to know the
next 20 steps on how to accomplish what God wants us to do.“Renewing our
mind” means reprogramming our thinking to total rest in God, with a deep
trust that He knows what’s best. Therefore, we don’t need to know all those
steps, just the next one & place complete trust in Him. It is not
really a comfortable place to be in many circumstances, because we probably
will not know the answers to all the questions that others or our mind will
ask. But if we are letting God be our Shepherd & lead us as Psalm 23
shows, then we may only know about the step we are at now. Read PS 23 again
& notice that all the things that He, The Holy Spirit, will do to bring
us rest, refreshing & provision. He does it & we receive it.
Nowhere are we to rely on ourselves for any of these needs in our life…but
in Him alone.
Where do feel that you are anointed to be in the church, or what naturally
comes easy for you to do, usually this shows your gifting given to you by
the Holy Spirit?
Eccl 9:10 says “ Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your
might” &
Col 3:23 says “And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not
to men”
It is important that we are faithful with our gifting as Jesus taught many
times about us being good stewards of our talents & faithful with them;
as we will one day give an account to the Lord.
“He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much” in Luke
16:10
So be encouraged that we are never alone in our spirit-walk by faith. Our
Helper; The Holy Spirit is a faithful guide, confidant, comforter, friend
& is God Almighty walks the path with us. In Him, we lack nothing. So,
keep tuning your ear to hear Him & quickly follow His leading.
Great is Thy Faithfulness to me, God
