We Already Have It (pt2)

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ. Ephesians 1:3

Who has! So many are trying to get what we already have. Last week I opened this subject up from the book of Ephesians.

This book is addressed to a group of believers who are rich beyond measure in Jesus, yet living as beggars, and only because they are ignorant of their wealth. In Chapters 1-3 we see the contents of the Christians heavenly bank account.

Adoption, acceptance, redemption, forgiveness, wisdom, inheritance, the seal of the Holy Spirit, life, grace, citizenship & faith.

If short every spiritual blessing, has already been accomplished in Christ and given to the born-again believer. It’s both already done and already ours! A victorious Christian isn’t seeking victory but rather enforces the victory already won through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. As believers, we aren’t trying to get something from God, we’re fighting to receiver the full manifestation of what’s already ours in Christ. We aren’t trying to get healed, we’re fighting because we’ve already been healed, and the devil is trying to steal it. Fight to defend the healing that’s already been provided for your in Christ.

We aren’t begging God to prosper us financially, we’re fighting the good fight of faith to see the prosperity that’s already been given to us manifest.

Everything that God has done for you has already been deposited into your born-again Spirit. Although it’s already there, you must draw it out of the spirit and into the physical realm by faith.

Paul also talks about  ‘By Grace through Faith’ Ephesians 2:8 ‘For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God.’

That is a powerful passage of scripture. You were saved by grace through faith. You weren’t saved by grace alone. Neither were you saved by faith alone. But grace through faith. This is a combination of the two. Grace and faith are like sodium and chloride. If you ingest either one of them alone its poisonous alone, either one would kill you if taken in a sufficient quantity. However, if you mix them together, you get sodium chloride (table salt). Together, they become something you cannot live without - Salt. That’s how grace and faith are!

Faith is simply your positive response to what God has already provided by grace. The grace of God has provided everyone, and its by faith we appropriate what God has already provided. I have so much on this grace and faith that it’s impossible to write it all.

Healing 1 Peter 2:24b whose stripes you were healed’ Peter looking back to the cross. ‘were healed’ your healing took place 2000 years ago.  Isaiah 53:5b By His stripes we are healed. ‘are and were’ Receive what’s already been given by faith. He provided healing 2000 years ago in the death, burial and resurrection of Christ. Many today are drawing on that healing by faith and receiving the manifestation of it today.

Have an awesome week ahead
