Will You Follow God's Plan to Stand God's Way?

Last week Chris Shadbolt from TTN, ministered to us a heartfelt message from Jesus to each of us, personally. A message straight from real life and from the Throne of Heaven to the children of God, the body of Jesus. Calling us to follow His plan for our life…. And urging us to make an adjustment in what & how we see in our lives because we are not alone, God walks with us.

Chris shared with us a report on what has occurred in 2017 and the 40 ft shipping containers jam-packed with hospital equipment; the wonderful effectives in lives touched by the physical things of hospital necessity in this world to those in in many nations in Africa; as well as the chaplaincy programs that run in large hospitals that get an awesome quick healing and discharge rate of up to 90%!

On top of that, a new school that has been opened by TTN to for Autistic children having 36 students; plus, there are many other outreach & community business activities happening within the TTN ministry.

For 20 years Chris & Angela have headed up TTN, working with God, focused on the goal of reaching African’s from Zambia & beyond; for Jesus.

In Luke 5:8-11, we see where Jesus calls four fishermen as disciples. After toiling all night and catching nothing, tired and weary, Jesus asks them to try once more with Him. They certainly didn’t feel like doing anything of the kind but nevertheless they did because Jesus asked them to. The catch was staggering to all who witnessed it. And all in the logically worst possible conditions to fish BUT now God was with them. Realising that they were fishing with The Great, I AM, caused them to be aware of their sinful nature & they were afraid of who they were but Jesus said, “Don’t be afraid.  From now on you will catch men.” and the four went ashore and left everything behind to follow Jesus.

Chris shared how for himself; amongst the great things that God was doing through TTN in 2017, that it was for himself, a very hard year in which he nearly gave up. The little things in Chris’ life, in the big scheme of things, got blown out of proportion & became overwhelming to the point of total soul exhaustion.

God revealed to Chris that he needed to step back & see the long-game view as He does & said “I’ve got this.”

Solomon 2:15 [AMP] says “Catch the foxes for us, The little foxes that spoil and ruin the vineyards [of love], While our vineyards are in blossom.”

The issue today is that the little foxes have crept into our lives and been eating away at us and causing us to lose focus on the fact that The Great I Am is in the boat of life with us. Those cares & issues of life & the enemy aims at taking our attention & misdirecting our focus downwards, which ushers in discouragement & strength failures.

This same Jesus says to you today “Will you follow Me?  I have got this.” Will I trust Him? Will you allow Him to take control? Because He has created you for a purpose, a higher purpose than what this world would have us busy doing, a purpose of real eternal value.

Disciples in the fishing of men business is our Heavenly Fathers business…He is the biggest in the industry, ocean parting, outside of time, Creator of all things! ….. that’s who we work with. He see’s the long view, we get caught up in the now view and rear view of things past.  We need to realise that it is well and be anxious for nothing.

Sounding familiar? He has been telling us this all year. Let those who have ears to hear, hear what Got is saying to us individually today “ Follow Me. He is still in control.    Don’t worry about anything but in everything make your request known to God”.

There is no-one greater than Our Father, Jesus & the Holy Spirit. He is making us into fishers of men & faithful to complete the task & bring fruit into our lives if we “follow Him”…..coming to church etc is part of that.

Let us remind our own souls that we are not alone, the Great I Am lives in me & that “I can do all things thru Christ who strengthens me”  Phil 4:13

Jesus encourages us today by calling us to change our daily perspective; with the way we see our daily circumstances & the pressures of life, by seeing who we are riding along with.

Fishing in the day time??  For Him easy!  Just lower the net where He says.  Just follow His lead daily…take the pressure off yourself.

The big journey of life is bigger than we think and our God sees it all and wants to guide us through to being confident sons & daughters.

Question is: “Will you follow Him from this day forward & give Him control?”

Nothing is too hard for Him. Amen!
