You’re a Winner!

“I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the wicked one.”
1John 2:14

Man was created to be a winner. In Genesis we see God made man and gave him dominion over the earth. Man didn’t even know what losing was until he separated himself from God through disobedience in the Garden of Eden.

What a sad story, but if you’re a born again child of God, your story has a happy ending.

Through faith in Christ Jesus, you’ve been made a winner once again. Does that mean you won’t have any more trouble? NO it simply means you can go through that trouble and emerge triumphant. He said in His word that in Him you can overcome any problem the world throws your way (1John 5:1-5).

A person asked, “if I’m suffering because of my own mistakes, do I still have the right to expect God to bless and use me? YES!! Gods grace is not based on your character, it’s based on His!!

I’m not a great golfer, but I can tell you this! The most important shot in the game is the next one. The sooner you can forget your last ‘slice’ and get your mind on the next green the sooner you’ll turn you defeat into victory.

Read and pray out loud Rom 8:37 “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us”.
